Volunteer Organization Committees

A volunteer organizing committee, or VOC, is a group of members whose volunteer initiatives help the union reach common goals. VOCs operate through many of the 26 local unions around New England. Members wanting to become more active in their local towns and communities can do so through their local VOC.

VOC activities are typically group efforts but can also be individual in nature. VOC members follow building projects in their communities, support political candidates, and pitch in for charitable causes in surrounding communities. The possibilities are truly endless and are determined solely by the members of a VOC.

To learn more about VOCs, first-time users must register and returning users must log in. Please note that access to the contents of the VOC section is limited to members of the New England Regional Council of Carpenters who are in goodstanding.
